How does the side-swing boom work?+
The boom can swing left or right independently of the machine's position — approximately 50° left and 45° right. This allows you to trench alongside a wall or fence line without repositioning the machine. It's standard on the MS15PRO and a feature typically found only on much larger, more expensive machines.
Does the gasoline engine limit performance vs. diesel?+
For the 1.5-ton class, a quality gasoline engine like the B&S XR2100 delivers sufficient power for all typical residential and light commercial applications. The advantage is lower purchase cost, electric start convenience, and service availability at any hardware store. Diesel becomes more compelling above 2 tons.
